Taedonggang Beer Factory, which began making beer in North Korea in 2002, recently took to the airwaves with this commercial. With a run time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds, the commercial, which calls Taedonggang “the Pride of Pyongyang,” runs nearly six times longer than a typical Western TV spot, but no doubt will provide North Korea scholars with plenty of fodder for cultural analysis.
