Company

Since 1982, Prisma International has been helping clients communicate globally. More than just a provider of translations, Prisma helps you manage and grow your customer relationships and project your brand message across languages, cultures and markets.

Our core guiding principle has always been an unwavering commitment to quality:

  • quality translation work
  • quality project management
  • quality service

While these values have always been at our core, several factors have made them even more critical in today's global marketplace:

  • The globalization of business
  • Technology as a global communication driver
  • The growing importance (and demand) of localized consumer experiences across languages, cultures and markets.

Why Prisma?

Anyone who has worked with translation and localization companies will appreciate that Prisma is different.

1) Translation Management requires strategy, not just technology.
Many language companies tout their tools and technological prowess as "solutions" to translation management.

While tools are important--and we use many of them--we never confuse them with real strategy.

Translation management means understanding the client's culture, workflows, unique global needs, and goals. We design a solution to fit that profile, with tools and technologies brought in to support the solution--not just to be the solution.

2) Project Management is a partnership.
Effective project management is built on two-way communication. Our project managers are trained communicators that lead a Core Team to deliver consistent, attentive service. The same team manages your work over time, leading to a strong learning curve and depth of knowledge of your documents, processes and content.

3) Global Business Management is based on local know-how.
Whether you are in marketing, advertising, documentation, HR, or regulatory affairs, you play a part in co-managing your company's global business.

We understand how these parts come together to form a whole, and we help support your global business efforts.

Frequently, Prisma works across company "silos" to support the larger goal, and we bring the necessary cultural know-how to balance your global business with the local communication to make it "ring" to local audiences around the world.
