Prisma Passes ISO Recertification with Flying Colors

August 03, 2010

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Prisma International has announced it has passed its recertification audit for ISO 9001:2008. Prisma’s Quality Manager, Jose Zonis, was notified by its auditor, Global Registrars, Inc., that it passed “with flying colors.”
“Our entire team was involved in the audit, just as we have each played an important role in Prisma’s Quality System,” Mr. Zonis stated.

Prisma CEO Jim Romano added, “Quality isn’t something you can inspect in afterwards—it has to be built into the system up front, and that’s what the Prisma team does so well. Hats off to the whole team.”

Prisma first became ISO-certified in 1999, one of the first translation and localization companies to obtain such a distinction. ISO certification refers to a process for managing and ensuring quality, and was first used in manufacturing but in the past decade has been applied increasingly to the service sector.
