Prisma International receives registration approval for DIN EN 15038 translation standard

November 16, 2007

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Prisma International has announced it has received notification of registration approval for the DIN EN 15038 translation standard.

DIN is the German acronym for the standards body of Germany that developed the initial translation standard on which the European version is based. “EN” stands for the English version of the standard.

Registration and compliance with the DIN standard means that Prisma’s translation process conforms to the European standard for the provision of quality services. It includes key quality points such as translator qualifications, style guides, source text analysis, and required translation steps.

“We’re both proud and excited to be part of the leading-edge of quality standards,” commented Prisma CEO Jim Romano. “DIN represents a new level of standard for our industry, and Prisma’s commitment to compliance with it will benefit both our clients and end-users around the world.”
