Compliance & Brand
Two critical components of a translation solution are compliance and brand. While they are very different things, they do in fact share a common management functionality: both have to do with ensuring the content is validated against a set of norms or standards.
Compliance refers to the need for content to be validated against a set of criteria, such as regulatory norms, standards or guidelines, to ensure it is in accord.
Brand refers to the content supporting a desired customer experience or brand experience, often driven by consistent use of key terminology, standardized ways to refer to products or services, global brand guidelines, and the like.
Both of these areas are critical business functions, and the translation solution should play a key role in supporting them.
